Is exactly what the title says: The notes of a sometime writer of science fiction and fantasy and a full-time free-lance writer. It is a collection of comments, essays and such on writing, science fiction, fantasy and related topics. Although, it contains my thoughts on the craft of writing, it is not intended to be didactic. There is some stuff here that can help you as a writer and some things that will get you into trouble.

Nah, beards would have looked terrible on the women.
My personal theory is Jim collected a crowd of writers who were too lazy to shave.

Thanks that's my Ironically Self-Referential Hawaiian sport shirt from the Pati Cook Science Fiction Collection.
Pati makes them for me out of "interesting" fabric and I don't just wear them to cons.
