ABOUT MY PUBLISHED BOOKS

Several people have asked about where to get my books. The Wiz series is still in print from Baen Books in two combined editions and one stand-alone volume. The combined books are "The Wiz Biz" (containing the first two novels) and "The Wiz Biz 2" (containing the next two.) The fifth volume, "The Wizardy Quested" is also available from Baen Books.

All the best Rick, just read your books (all in one swing) and enjoyed them a lot!
Take care and get well (better) soon!

Just bought the "Wizard's Bane" on Kindle. Are you planning to release the other books?

PS: please, please, please, finish "The Wizardry Capitalized"

I own all 5 published Wiz books in paperback form :) I should re-read them, it has been a while!

Meanwhile, let me just add my voice once more to the chorus who would love to read a completed "Wiz6", or indeed more continuations of the series.

I don't know how feasible this would be, but might something like a kickstarter project be helpful in financing such an endeavour if it were at all feasible?

Rick,

As a long-time fan of the Wizardry books, I was surprised to find that they are not available on Kindle! Is this by design or is it oversight? If by oversight, I would love to assist you in getting them out there. If by design, OK, but why? I'd like to have the books in Kindle format, if possible.

Here I am hoping like heck you read this and get back with me. I am Mike (not Groot).

Hi Rick, I've been looking for the e-book The Wizardy Quested and I can't find it anywhere including Baen.com. Any idea where I can find it. I have all of your other books.

I've been looking for an e-book copy of The Wizardy Quested, I checked at Baen publishing but they don't have it either. Any suggestions? FYI I have all of your other books.

Mr. Cook, Hello! I have searched for some time to find you, it seems you don't have a very large internet footprint! Which is good and bad I suppose :) I have one question: Have you considered making WizBiz into a movie? I think it's time has come (actually a few years ago) and I would love to see it happen. Technology is such that amazing things could be done, and the Age of the Geek is squarely upon us, I think the audience is there. I'd love to see your writing on the big screen! Just wanted to reach out to you if you ever read this blog anymore and let you know your work is appreciated!

Hi Rick,

I have enjoyed your Wiz novels, read and re-read them through the years.

You've stated that you have no interest in completing "The Wizardry Capitalized"; why not get another author to finish it as a collaboration and at least make some money while treating your fans to another Wiz book. If the book sells well, you could let the collaborating author continue with sequels, along with a cut and you name on each - much as Larry Niven does. This could lead to a re-publishing of your original 5 novels and some more of that filthy, wonderful lucre. I'm sure some bright Brandon Sanderson-like author would see the potential in such a collaboration in an established series. Just an idea. Your fan, Renfrew

Rick Cook, I love your Wizardry novels! They are a delight to read and never get dull. Your books are the best kind, the kind you can't stop reading even when you know it's time to go to sleep, because you just have to know what happens next! Have a merry Christmas. :)

2 years too late... I found your books in a used book store when I was kid, bored at the beach. I don't know if you still check this blog, but in case you do? Thank you. You opened up a whole world of literature and friends and basically life in general.

Rick,
Sorry to hear about your health, it can make a big impact on your life (I am currently recovering from a brain tumor that has left me many complications); I know how it can be.
I recently got the Wiz Biz on Nook, but the rest of the books aren't digitally available (My eyesight is too poor for printed material as I can't change the font size). Any plans on re releasing them? They are too good and knowing they exist and not have access to this amazing artistry should be a crime.
